How long does knotweed treatment take?
Usually a few growing seasons, with follow-up visits to make sure it does not come back. Digging it out is quicker if you need the land sooner.
Can I just cut it down?
No. Cutting can spread it, because small pieces of root and stem grow into new plants. It needs to be treated or removed properly.
