How acoustic fencing works
Noise travels through gaps. An acoustic fence is heavy, solid and has no gaps, so it blocks sound instead of letting it through.
It works best when it is tall enough and runs right down to the ground. We check the site, the source of the noise and any planning rules before we start.

Will an acoustic fence stop all the noise?
It will cut it a lot, but no fence stops every sound. Height, length and how close it sits to the noise all matter. We will tell you honestly what to expect.
Do I need planning permission?
Sometimes. Taller fences and fences next to roads can need consent. Acoustic fencing is also often a condition on new developments. We will check before any work starts.
